Do you want to learn how to make a couscous like a real Moroccan cook? Or be initiated into the mysteries of Arabic calligraphy? Or perhaps you prefer to make pots? Why not try one of our thematic workshops? Under the guidance of experienced professionals you can develop new skills at your leisure in the most beautiful, relaxed atmosphere imaginable: all our workshops take place at Dar Cherifa, one of the oldest residences of the Marrakech medina, dating from the Saadian period (16th Century).
Rolling semoule with your fingers, measuring out spices for flavouring a tagine, sculpting a gazelle's horn - they are all part of a cooking workshop with a dada (Moroccan cook) where you can be initiated into the mysteries of Moroccan cuisine.
The workshops are organised in small groups at Dar Cherifa, a beautiful 16th century building, using equipment that can be found in any ordinary kitchen. A professional guide is on hand to translate and explain all the details of the preparation and cooking of the food.
At the end of each workshop the participants get to taste the dishes they have made. A half -day workshop gives you enough time to make a starter and a main course or a main course and a dessert, as you please.
